CastleWave, LLC. Purchased by Crexendo Business Solutions


New York, NY February 11, 2010 - CastleWave a three year-old boutique online marketing firm with offices in Provo, Utah and New York City was sold to Crexendo Business Solutions (a wholly-owned subsidiary of iMergent Inc.) in a combined cash and stock deal. CastleWave specializes in search engine marketing and optimization; Crexendo Business Solutions is an e-services company that facilitates businesses looking for a trusted partner to manage their eCommerce or lead generation offering, web design and build, as well as, search engine optimization/management and other online promotional needs.

The acquisition gives Crexendo an accomplished team of SEO and SEM account managers, a blue chip client base, and a growing sales channel. CastleWave’s technology will enhance the already powerful Crexendo search engine tools and further the effort to automate marketing in this vertical.

CastleWave, was founded in December 2006 by David Fishman, Rich Christiansen, Will Braunstein, and Ron Porter. The company has not taken any outside investment and has been profitable from inception.

During their tenure at CastleWave, Ron Porter and Rich Christiansen completed a business book titled “Bootstrap Business”. CastleWave was founded based on the principles in the book, taking $5,000 to create a multi-million dollar company. “This acquisition puts an ! down for the book. It has been a great ride and fun to see the principles in the book proven out,” said Rich Christiansen.
