The CastleWave Story

The story behind CastleWave is quite amazing.

First let’s start with the creating of CastleWave. Richard Christiansen, a Co-Founder, left the corporate world to become an entrepreneur. After both successes and failures, Rich wanted to write a book to help future entrepreneurs avoid the mistakes and bootstrap their way to success. Rich express this idea to his friend Ron Porter, and Ron was eager to climb aboard.

At the start of writing this book, Ron was not convinced of all the ideas that Rich was espousing. Ron proposes to Rich to prove these bootstrapping theories. Ron wanted a test run, to see if it really was possible to take $5,000 dollars and turn it into a million dollar company. Thus, Everest Web Solutions was born with Rich and Ron both putting in $2,500 into the pot. Fast forward some time and Everest Web Solutions met Interactive Acquisition, a company in New York owned by David Fishman and Will Braunstein. These two companies had a complimentary fit and in October of 2007 the union of the companies created CastleWave. Which, I am proud to say, turned into a million dollar company.

CastleWave is comprised of Search Engine Optimization (or SEO) and internet marketing experts. We pride ourselves on knowing the key elements and fine tuning involved in SEO work. We understand the need for relevant and fresh content on a site, and also where to place the content within the site to get that greatly desired traffic. We’ve got some top notch link builders, or as we like to call them, Linkers. These guys know how to get not just any link, but “quality links.” Those are the links that will drive traffic to the site.

PPC can be tricky. You need to know what type of words, how many words and the difficulty level. We can help decide which words would be best for generating results.
Ever feel like you have a great idea for an iphone app, and that is basically how far you get, just the idea. Well, we also do iphone applications. We can take that idea and help turn it into an app you can buy at the Apple Store.

Want your site to get an overhaul? We can handle that too. We have some talented engineers that will help take your site to that next level.

We’ve got it down! We know how to accommodate to those search engines.

CastleWave has those traditional values of honest good work.

For us, life is not all about our jobs, it is about values. This includes the weightier matters of life like family, trust relationships, faith, and humanitarian participation. We believe in win-win opportunities and work at cultivating long term relationships. I would like to add that we also like to work hard and then play hard. We create goals and if we push and meet those goals, the reward is sweet.
I have been with this company almost since the beginning, I have watched it grow, and I have seen the satisfaction of watching customer’s rankings go up. We work hard and get those results.

The pictures posted are the rewards when we hit some major goals. In 2008, we traveled to New York City. We were able to see some of the amazing sites of New York, including: Time Square, The Financial District, the Bull, Central Park and the Museum of Natural History. We tasted some amazing food; we ate at Lombardi’s and Tom’s Restaurant, which is the Seinfeld restaurant. My favorite place was an Italian bakery Ferrara Cafe (I now have a love for cannolis). The New York introduced us to the way of traveling on the subway, quiet an amazing experience. We also had to try a NY hot dog from the street vendors. The last night we also saw some great performances on Broadway. The choice was between Wicked and Blue Man Group, both were incredible performances. It was an amazing trip, we got to see our whole team, experience New York and spend time enjoying a well deserved reward.

In 2009, we traveled to the much warmer climate of Vegas! We were ready to rock it when we first arrived in Vegas, we got there are midnight and we went bowling. Rich told us that if anyone bet his bowling score that he’d buy them dessert. Well we didn’t know that he was hustling us. Needless to say no one got dessert. The next morning we went to breakfast at the Planet Hollywood, which was amazing! Then we had our company meeting, where we sat and discussed the goals we met and the new goals. That day we went to the Stratosphere for some thrills! We rode all three rides at the top of the hotel. We ate some more at the Rio buffet and were almost late to the Cirque de Soleil show. In the end we all made it to the show just in the nick of time. All I can say about Cirque de Soleil is that you can’t describe it, it’s amazingly complex and yet beautifully displayed. Maybe beautiful chaos could begin to describe the show. We spent some time enjoying each other company at a lounge with fantastic live music. We had a fitting end to our trip watching the Bellagio water show together. We said our goodbyes and parted ways.

Working hard and playing hard. A Zig-Zag method of Rich’s. We pushed and pushed to met goals and then backed off and had some days of fun.

Thanks to the team who worked hard and helped meet those goals!

This is Tina, over and out.
